The Making Moves online course is designed to clear the murky waters around changing behaviors and motivating action, so you can start and grow your conservation movements. 2020 course dates: September 3 – October 15.
Throughout the 7-week program, Brooke Tully shares the most relevant theories and techniques from marketing & advertising, the behavioral & social sciences, and conservation & environmental programs and translates them into best practices that can be readily applied to your programs.
Each lesson and its corresponding worksheets guide you through the exact steps to design an outreach plan that motivates audiences to take action & make changes that benefit the planet.
We start with clarifying behaviors and audiences, move into identifying deterrents and motivators and finish up with designing messages and outreach plans tailored for the audience. The processes, insights, tools & templates provided in the course are ones you can use over & over again throughout your career.
Lessons go live every Thursday at two separate times to accommodate international time zones. All the details are in the course syllabus.
